iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Design comparison

With the official unveiling of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, all design and technical details of Apple’s flagship phone are now known. The attention is shifting towards how it stacks up against future competitors. Interestingly, the rumors focus not on current Samsung devices but on those that are yet to be released. One notable leaker has already drawn comparisons between the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to Ice Universe, Samsung is expected to closely follow the iPhone 16 Pro Max in terms of external dimensions and frame design. Similar to Google’s upcoming Pixel 9 devices, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s frame will be more angular, echoing the iPhone’s flat-edged look. However, confusion between the two devices is unlikely. While the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to retain a sharp, angular shape, the iPhone will continue to feature more rounded edges.

Another source has nearly simultaneously confirmed the design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. A video featuring 3D renders of the phone showcases its design in greater detail.

In the video, the iPhone-inspired frame is even more evident. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, with its 5,000 mAh battery, is expected to weigh 219 grams—slightly lighter than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which weighs in at 227 grams. Additionally, Samsung’s device will continue to feature the S Pen, maintaining one of its signature offerings (Source: AndroidHeadlines).

The official launch of the Galaxy S25 series is anticipated in early 2025. Only then will it become clear whether these leaked designs and details are accurate. However, past leaks have often proven reliable.
