A luxury phone company in Dubai is offering a special version of the iPhone 16 for those seeking exclusivity. This unique variant, clad in gold, comes with a price tag comparable to that of an automobile.

Pre-orders for all variants of the iPhone 16 have commenced today, not only directly from Apple but also from numerous retailers. However, there’s one version of this smartphone that’s available from only a single seller. This exclusive vendor is Caviar International, a luxury phone manufacturer based in Dubai. They have encased the iPhone in gold in three distinct ways.
Exclusive luxury models
As seen on the company’s website, discerning iPhone enthusiasts can purchase their device in the exclusive “Art & Gold” edition. This version replaces the glass back panel with gold-plated metal.
The phone is available in three variants:
- “Symphony” (Rose Gold)
- “Paramount” (Yellow Gold)
- “Duomo” (Silver Gold)
The precious metal coating consists of 24-karat gold and is adorned with patterns that, according to the manufacturer, draw inspiration from modern art and Art Deco.

All three variants can be ordered as iPhone Pro or Pro Max with the storage options offered by Apple. While the standard iPhone Pro with 128 gigabytes typically costs 1,199 euros, buyers of the gilded versions will need to dig much deeper into their pockets. At Caviar International, customers pay around 10,800 euros, depending on the color variant.

Even pricier options available
For those who find a gold coating too mundane, there’s an option to have the phone made entirely of 18-karat gold. Such an iPhone 16 Pro Max with one terabyte of storage will set you back approximately 64,000 euros. This amount could buy nearly 33 regular devices with the same specifications directly from the Apple Store. According to the website, free shipping doesn’t seem to be included, even at this price point.
So, happy shopping to those with deep pockets!
